Okay, so I have mixed feelings about this tea shop. After looking up affordable tea shops in Manhattan, I stumbled upon Teavva. After my trip to Soft Swerve, I wanted some tea to finish off my day at Chinatown, and that is when I found Teavva (it was very close in distance according to Google)! First of all, this place was so cute. It was decorated for Halloween at the time that I went, and the inside was like a warm hug. It was cozy, small, and simply decorated. After looking over the menu, I went with my favorite, a lychee tea. However, for some reason that day I was feeling a bit bold and decided to switch things up. I got aloe vera jelly topping, regular ice, and made my sugar level 25%, well aware that my sweet tooth would not be so happy about this decision.
Therefore, when I sipped the tea, I did not really like the taste. The tea was a bit watered down and it was not as sweet as I would have liked it to be. So I will inform you now: please learn from my mistake, and check your tea's sugar and ice levels! Nonetheless, Teavva is a great place to stop, if you are in the area or if you are looking for cozy and fun tea shops to go to!
